Yesterday my roommate Ashley forgot her scrabble letters to play speed scrabble with on her phone date with Brad in Layton, so Dave and I decided to play a game I remember playing my freshman year of high school called "Pick It." Each person starts with about 7 letters and creates their own scrabble crossword. When everyone is either stuck or someone has made interlocking words with all of their letters they yell "Pick it!" and everyone has to pick another letter from the bag. Its a little tricky with only 2 people since there are more letters for each person to make into words, but we had fun with it. Well, at least I did. :] Aaaand, since I figured my parents would never believe me if they heard I played scrabble of my own free will I decided to take a picture of our final crosswords:


So maybe we got a little creative towards the end, but we had to hurry and leave for the Lava Hot Springs! Which was way fun by the way. A dang long drive, but a really neat place nonetheless.

Well here goes. I've decided there's too much floating around in my head not to have an outlet of some kind. Having said that, I think I better have some specific goals for this blog-if i don't it'll probably just end up being a negative-thinking dumpsite and nobody is ever interested in that sort of thing. Heck, I'm not interested in that sort of thing! So using that as a springboard I'd like this to be a blog about the positive things I'm interested in. Namely cooking, crafty-type projects, natural living information I may currently be investigating, talks and/or inspiration that may have struck me, pictures of events and goings on in my life and anything else of this nature. I better allow some room for the occasional rant or vent, but I really want to try and focus on the great amount of good in my life. :]
